On Saturday August 8th 2026 we will organize our yearly Bird Watching Cross Island Photo Trip in 2026. The group assembles at 7.30 AM at the parking place of Centrum Piscadera.
August marks the start of the fall migration of birds from the Northern hemisphere and besides these bird species several local species are concluding their breeding season.
During this trip we go to a number of (artificial) wetlands and other natural areas where we have a good chance of spotting different species of native birds as well as migratory birds of the island. We will also pay attention to tips and tricks to photograph birds during the trip. This trip starts at 7.45 and lasts around 4.5 hours.

Bird Watching Cross Island Trip – Curaçao 8 augustus 2026
Op zaterdag 8 augustus 2026 organiseren we wederom een Bird Watching Cross Island Trip. De groep verzamelt om 7.30 uur PM bij de Parkeerplaats van Centrum Piscadera.
In augustus begint langzaam maar zeker de herfstmigratie van vogels vanuit Noord Amerika weer, en tevens zijn er verschillende lokale vogels die nog aan het broeden zijn of juist aan het einde van hun broedtijd zitten.
Tijdens deze trip gaan we naar een aantal (kunstmatige) wetlands en andere natuurgebieden waar we een grote kans hebben op het spotten van verschillende soorten vogels die hier broeden of het eiland tijdens de migratie bezoeken. Tevens besteden we aandacht aan het fotograferen van vogels met verschillende tips en tricks. Deze trip begint om 7.45 uur en duurt ongeveer 4.5 uur.
